$100 Promo.. 100% Stupid

July 23, 2006 - $100 Promo...Hundred percent Stupid

Singtel got this new promo a $100 load for 28 bucks quite cheap huh.. So my wife and I grab one to call our parents in the Philippines. After a couple of minutes air time goes zero soon we found out that the 80% of the load was just for local calls only.. too bad we have to consume it all to reload a new one... Be careful it might happen to you..

Price on the card: $28 dollars
Lesson learn : Priceless...

Me and my wife together with my flatmates went to Cathay to see this movie its a good comedy and drama movie. Where Adam Sandler can control his life using a single a universal remote.

Movie rating : **** (4 stars)

After the movie we came to see my roomate perform live on stage together with his local band at Marine Cove East Coast Park.

Judge said: Overall good performance. Next time bring more songs. hehe

Captain Jack is back - July 15, 2006

After a great night at Insomia we relax and see a movie at Cathay Cineplex. Behind us is the movie poster I think that explains it all.

Then right after we have our dinner at Esplanade near the theater too bad we cant find good seats so we end up eating at Carls Jr -Marina Square a mall near by.

Night at the Monastery - July 14, 2006

This is an Old Monastery turn into a bar called Insomia. My wife (just arrived July 7) and I went with Hermes's friends of course he is taking us the picture...hehe
From the left is Rhenie a dancing machine pretty talented good guy. Next is Suzie a friend of Chet my officemate from Pru Life and the girl next to my wife is Lulai a nice girl with a heavy laptop on her back always.
